Using a variety of motivational techniques, S.A.L.L.I. helps students gain confidence in general academics.

GENERAL ACADEMICS

Students will receive help in general academics like study skills, and vocabulary development.

Writing Assistance

So many students are writing-phobic. Many students get physically sick at the thought of writing.  The teacher will ease students through the entire writing process including brainstorming, researching, and drafting.

Reading Comprehension

Students receive assistance in reading comprehension and book reports. Rewards and incentives are available to students who have novel lists to complete by the end of the school year.

TUTORING IN ALL SUBJECTS IS AVAILABLE INCLUDING MATH AND SAT PREP

Students will learn the necessary skills to improve their SAT scores. Through various learning techniques, students will increase their reading comprehension and vocabulary. Additionally, students will learn how to write strong, cohesive essays that will gain the highest scores on the writing section of the SAT test.

Science

Teacher will assist students in comprehending science concepts by helping students  compile study cards, and complete science experiments.

Social Studies is overwhelming with its truck load of names and dates to remember. Teacher will assist students in compiling notes and memorizing important names and dates.
